Welcome to the Ins and Outs of Central Asia blog. I am a PHD candidate who is just finishing her thesis on Clans and Informal Institutions in Central Asia and to motivate myself over the last 6 months I have decided to write a blog on the transition occurring in the five Central Asian states.
